About Us

doctors and nurses with their patientWestern Polytechnic Institute LLC was established with the purpose of offering certificate vocational programs in allied health. We aim to produce knowledgeable, compassionate and skilled healthcare professionals to ensure quality healthcare services. The management of Western Polytechnic Institute believes that learning is at its best when there is mutual respect, trust and when learning is reciprocal. We believe that it is our educators’ purpose and duty to teach students the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the programs and to be excellent facilitators of learning by providing the students the resources they need.

Western Polytechnic Institute LLC was incorporated on October 16, 2016 in the state of Illinois. The two owners who are both practicing nurse educators have more than 50 years of combined work experience in clinical and classroom settings which make them more than equipped to handle such an institution. Both have immense passion, drive and experience to train, teach and create clinically competent individuals who will be great contributors and assets to the healthcare system. With separate lives but similar skills set, they believe in the need to blend science with faith and both believed in challenging the students to allow them to reach their maximum potential.

Institutional Objectives:

  • To thrive as an institution that provides quality and affordable vocational certificate programs in allied health sciences.
  • To produce graduates who are theoretically strong, clinically competent, technically driven, and culturally oriented.
  • To academically prepare graduates to take the state exam or national certification with confidence to pass on the first attempt.
  • To facilitate the transition of students from being students to Certified Nursing Assistants, Certified Phlebotomists, or Certified EKG Technicians.

We embrace and encourage diversity.
